Merchants are defined as: Organisations or individuals that are fully onboarded with Mollie and that actively use the Payment Module of Mollie for purposes, including, but not limited to, the sale of products and/or services to Customers.

Full Terms & Conditions 

  1. This Promotion is open to Merchants with a registered office in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium and/or the Netherlands who have not made a transaction via Mollie with American Express in the last 12 months (“Inactive”). The Promoter, their agents and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion are in any case excluded. 

  1. No purchase by the Merchant necessary; however, internet access, public LinkedIn account and a valid UK, French, German, Belgian or Dutch bank account are required.  

  1. Promotion Period: Enter between 00:01 GMT on 20 November 2023 and 23:59 GMT on  8 March 2024 inclusive.

  1. To Enter: 

    1. Visit this link, download the American Express asset pack and correctly answer a question of skill to be entered into the Prize Draw for all entry routes. 

    2. Then add the American Express logo to the checkout page for the Merchant’s website and to the homepage header or footer for 1 entry into the Prize Draw. 

    3. To get an additional entry, share the American Express template on the Merchant’s public LinkedIn feed before the end of the Promotion Period. 

    4. Have a customer complete an American Express transaction via Mollie on the Merchant’s website for 1 entry into the Prize Draw. If any subsequent customers complete an American Express transaction via Mollie on the Merchant’s website after the first customer, this will not count as additional entries into the Prize Draw. The maximum entry is 1 for this entry route. 

  2. Further entry details & conditions:

    1. You must keep your profile on a public setting for 15 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period.

    2. Clauses 4b and 4c should remain on the checkout, homepage and social media page respectively for 10 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period. 

  1. There are a maximum of 4 entries permitted per Merchant during the Promotion Period. No Merchant may win more than 1 Prize.

  1. The Prizes: There will be 4 winners in total. Each winner will win one of the following:

    1. 1 x £10,000 (or the equivalent amount in €) in selected vouchers to boost your growth plans in 2024, vouchers dependent upon the growth plan you submit;

    2. 1 x £5,000 (or the equivalent amount in €) in agency credit for website design or website development, agency dependent upon proposal you submit;

    3. 1 x £3,000 (or the equivalent amount in €) in GoogleAd vouchers; or 

    4. 1 x exclusive tickets for 2 people to Wimbledon 2024, including transport and a hotel stay in London valued at up to £400 per night through selected vouchers by Promoter.

  1. Further Prize Details and Conditions: 

    1. For £10,000 for growth plans:

      1. The winning Merchant will be asked to submit their growth plan proposal for the subsequent year to the Promoter. The growth plan should include anything the winning Merchant believes will contribute to the growth of their business. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing campaigns, outsourced contractual support, physical shop refits etc.

      2. Subject to receiving the winning Merchant’s growth plan proposal, the Promoter will provide the £10,000 to the winning Merchant in either Meta, LinkedIn or Google Ad vouchers. This will be dependent on the growth plan submitted and will be subject to the Promoter’s discretion.

      4. An alternative voucher suggestion may be provided by the winning Merchant subject to the Promoter’s approval. 

    2. For £5,000 agency credit for website design or website development:

      1. The winning Merchant will have £5,000 to spend on web design or website development with one of Mollie’s selected agencies. Depending on the services desired, the Promoter will propose a suitable agency that can provide the desired services for the winning Merchant. 

      2. The Promoter will transfer the prize money to the selected agency. The agency will hold the money as a credit for the winning Merchant. Further details will be confirmed during Winner Notification.

    4. For Wimbledon tickets:

      1. The Prize is 2 x tickets to Wimbledon 2024. 

      2. The guest must be over 18. 

      3. The tickets provided will be for Centre Court/Court 1 on the chosen day. 

      4. Tickets are only valid for the dates and times shown; no alternatives will be available. If the winning Merchant is unable to attend after confirming acceptance of the Prize, no alternative tickets will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund of any expenses incurred will be provided.

      5. The winning Merchant is responsible for any extra charges incurred whilst redeeming the tickets and neither travel nor spending money is included.

      6. If the Merchant is unable to attend on their chosen date for any reason, no alternative tickets will be issued, and no compensation and/or refund will be provided.

      7. The winning Merchant is responsible for the behaviour of their guests whilst taking the Prize. The Promoters reserve the right in its absolute discretion to exclude a guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoters or any companies associated with the Prize or if a guest acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoters, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue.

      8. You and your guest must abide by any relevant terms and conditions which form part of the prize. Whilst at the event/venue, you must not: be drunk, intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, underage, be abusive, threatening, make or incite racial abuse, chant, use offensive language, make obscene gestures, throw items, behave anti-socially, carry laser pens, bring animals (except guide dogs), carry offensive weapons or illegal substances, carry candles, climb any structure, make excessive noise, offer any item for sale, damage the venue or smoke. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the event/venue.

      9. The winning Merchant will be provided with a Booking.com Gift Card for £400 per night across two nights to book a hotel room in London. The hotel should be booked for the night before and night of their Wimbledon ticket date.

      11. For winners based in Germany, France, the Netherlands or Belgium, the Promoter will pay for round trip economy flights for two people into a London Airport. Check-in luggage will not be included in your flight ticket.

      12. For winners based in the UK, the Promoter will pay for return standard fare public transport to London. UK winners will not be reimbursed for the difference.

      13. The Promoter will pay for public transport to and from the airport to the hotel and Wimbledon. 

      14. The voucher is valid for one booking only. Once it has been used, it is not possible to use it again or receive any leftover credit.

      15. The voucher cannot be sold, combined with other discounts, promotions or cashback activities. 

      16. A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to the room and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in- room calls or services.

      17. The winning Merchant is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during their stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.

      18. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.


  1. Winner Selection: 4 provisional winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. For your total confidence, the Prize draw will be conducted by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service, within 5 working days of the end of the Promotion Period.

  1. Winner Notification: Provisional winners will be contacted via the email address registered with Mollie within 5 working days of Winner Selection and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winners. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winners will be confirmed as a winner. If the provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond. 

  1. Prize Acceptance: Notification to arrange fulfilment of the Prizes will take place within 28 days of acceptance of the Prizes. For the Prizes stipulated under Clause 7(a) and (b), notification to arrange fulfilment of the Prizes will be subject to the winner providing their proposals. In the unlikely event that a winner has not received communication to arrange their Prize, the winner must inform the Promoter by emailing marketing@mollie.com. If a winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at its sole discretion.

  1. Moderation: The Promoter reserves the right to reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter:

    1. are in breach of the Terms & Conditions;

    2. contain any content that is offensive, harmful, objectionable or which is otherwise unsuitable for publication including with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, or which could reflect negatively upon the name, reputation or goodwill of the Promoter or any brand partner;

    3. contains or refers to any unauthorised third-party brand or reference any third-party names, logos and/or trademarks.

  1. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list containing the Merchant name and registered office location of the winners will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available at www.promowinners.com/mollieamex. The winners can object to their details being published during the Winner Notification process. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.

  1. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.

  1. The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry/ies (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:

  1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.

  1. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. 

  1. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

  1. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

  1. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

  1. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

  1. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions. 

  1. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

  1. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize or any element of a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize or element of the Prize for another of equal or greater value.

  1. Except where expressly set out in these Terms & Conditions, the prizes are described as excluding VAT.

  1. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to any American Express websites used to facilitate the promotion. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to LinkedIn.

  1. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with LinkedIn. By entering you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to LinkedIn, and LinkedIn is not responsible for any element of this Promotion.

  1. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS14175) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.  Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

  1. The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

  1. All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used for the purpose of this Promotion and for research and analytical purposes by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: privacy.

  1. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

  1. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

  1. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail. 

  1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by UK law for Merchants with a registered office in the UK; disputes must be brought before the courts of the UK. Merchants having their registered offices in Germany, France, Belgium or the Netherlands, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Dutch law and disputes must be brought before the court in Amsterdam.
