Mollie becomes preferred partner of Shopware
From now on, European payment service provider (PSP) Mollie and leading German provider of e-commerce solutions Shopware are set to work closely together. Mollie has just been designated as a preferred partner by Shopware, delivering a payment solution recommended by the latter for its ‘Shopware 6’ e-commerce software for the Benelux, Italy and DACH target markets.
In the partnership, Shopware users will moreover be able to swiftly and easily integrate Mollie’s solutions in their online shop. “The fact that, as a German company, Shopware has decided to call on Mollie as a preferred party in spite of the wide number of PSPs in its own domestic market, underscores two things: our pioneering role in the technological development of innovative payment products as well as our strong potential to help e-commerce businesses tap into new markets”, Mollie B.V.’s CEO Gaston Aussems explains.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, Mollie is currently expanding its operations into several European countries, including Germany. “Same as Shopware, we have devised solutions that set new standards in our line of business. After having conquered our respective domestic markets, this move will now see us effect joint growth across the rest of Europe”, Aussems goes on to say.
The easiest plugin for Shopware users
The integration of Mollie enables Shopware users to add and activate all established payment methods with a single mouse click. As part of this process, Mollie not only makes available all relevant payment systems, it also offers local payment methods for most EU Member States. The integration in the shop is implemented within a very short space of time by way of free plugins. Users who prefer to write their own code are able to build on the familiar API (Application Programming Interface) their own dedicated payment environment.
The Mollie solution helps companies of any size to act with greater efficiency – not least thanks to the fact that all payment data, real time accounting transactions and analyses can be centrally administered and managed in real time in the Mollie dashboard. “Mollie is the perfect complement to Shopware’s partner network.
