Mollie Launches Datev Export Functionality in Germany
6 oktober 2021
DATEV is a leading German-based accounting and bookkeeping service-provider and an association of German tax accountants and financial auditors. Datev provides the German standard within accounting and is the de facto authority on accounting formats and conventions. Their software is widely used by the majority of tax accountants, but also in use in accounting departments of medium and large enterprises.
Smaller enterprises without a finance department oftentimes indirectly use DATEV through their tax accountant. DATEV’s software is available for tax accountants and finance departments and covers all use cases of day to day bookkeeping as well as annual reports and reports to the tax authorities.
Easy and Reliable Dashboard Functionality
Mollie is continuously investing in localising our ecosystem of features and functionality in each respective market we operate in. A key enabler to Mollies’ customer’s growth in Germany is reducing friction between the platforms our customers use and easing their operational workload.
In doing so we’ve recently completed our DATEV Dashboard export functionality which provides customers with a reliable and easy-to-use data export between Mollie and Datev’s systems.
“Enabling the DATEV export functionality is another step forward in building a powerful suite of easy-to-use, reliable dashboard features for our customers at no additional cost to them.” Ken Serdons - Chief Commercial Officer.
What this new export feature means for you:
- Quick and easy-to-use export functionality into DATEV
- Reliable integration with flexible functionality
- User-friendly dashboard interface
- Integration is at no cost to the customer
How to export your data using the DATEV export
You can handle your accounting using two methods. DATEV export works with the same data as the other export formats CSV, MT940, and CODA, but only with a suspense account. To export your data in the DATEV format, follow these steps:
- In your Mollie Dashboard, go to Administration > Report.
- Select Export.
- Choose the file type DATEV.
- Select the day or month you want to export.
