We’re delighted to announce three exceptional Supervisory and Management Boards appointments. The new Management Board members are Sarah Roberto, who joins as our new Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO), and Vincent Toolan, our new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Leni Boeren joins our Supervisory Board.

Sarah Roberto - Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

Sarah is an established professional in compliance, risk management, and legal and corporate governance. Having worked at Mollie for five years, Sarah thrived in legal counsel and corporate secretary positions. She most recently acted as our Head of Compliance, guiding our product and global expansion ambitions. 

Sarah began her career after earning law degrees from Maastricht University (bachelor’s) and the Vrije Universiteit (master’s). Before joining Mollie, she worked as a legal officer specialising in private equity.

“I’m excited to continue my journey at Mollie,” Sarah says. “As CRCO, I look forward to collaborating with an exceptional team, providing the best products to our customers and contributing to Mollie’s sustainable growth.”

Vincent Toolan - Chief Financial Officer

Vincent joins our Management Board from dunnhumby, a global leader in retail data science, where he was also CFO. 

He has years of experience in financial leadership across Silicon Valley and Europe, which includes time at Google, Amazon, Evernote and Dropbox. 

Vincent holds two master’s qualifications from the University of Pennsylvania and a mathematics degree from the University of Cambridge.

“I’m delighted to be joining Mollie’s Management Board,” Vincent says. “It’s among Europe’s best-recognised tech companies, with a compelling product suite and a loyal customer base. As CFO, I’m especially pleased to see the strong business model and high growth rates.”

Leni Boeren joins Mollie’s Supervisory Board. She worked in the financial sector for 40 years, beginning her professional life with banking roles at Paribas and Rabobank before holding several director-level positions at Amsterdam Exchanges and Euronext. 

Leni transitioned to asset management, spending over a decade undertaking executive roles before becoming CEO and Chair of international Robeco Group N.V. She also held several board positions with renowned firms, including Harbor Capital Advisors Inc. and Boston Partners Global Investors Inc. in the United States and SAM Sustainable Asset Management in Switzerland. After this, she served as CEO of Kempen Capital Management. 

Leni has a Master of Science degree from Erasmus University and currently holds non-executive positions with NIBC Bank, Air France-KLM, Ohpen, and Renovaro Biosciences. She also works in several advisory roles, including being a member of the Capital Market Committee of the Dutch regulator, the Authority for the Financial Markets.
