We’re thrilled to announce that we have been named as an EMEA 60 Leader by PYMNTS, a global leader in payments news and analytics. The EMEA 60 companies have all been selected based on their valuation and influence among fintech companies in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In total, 20 European companies were chosen – with Mollie included in that select group. The PYMNTS EMEA 60’s first class will be honoured at EMEA PYMNTS’s FORUM, which takes place in Paris in September.
“At Mollie we are on a mission to simplify complex financial services for all companies,” explains Shane Happach, Mollie CEO. “And we’re also dedicated to serving SMEs, a woefully underserved community. To be named as an EMEA 60 Leader by PYMNTS is a welcome recognition of that work, as well as our standing as one of the fastest-growing fintechs in Europe. What drives us is the belief that growth is for everyone, and we’re excited to continue on that journey to give everybody the opportunity to scale.”
A year of growth at Mollie
The news comes after another exciting year at Mollie, during which we have grown our ever-growing ecosystem of best-in-class partners, expanded into the UK, and spent time developing and launching several new products and services, including Connect for Platforms and new financial services.
“PYMNTS is excited to recognise the EMEA 60 during the EMEA PYMNTS FORUM for their outsized impact on forwarding the transformation of the digital economy,” says Karen Webster, PYMNTS CEO. “With the acceleration of innovation taking place in the EMEA region, PYMNTS is compelled and excited to bring together thought leaders in fintech and beyond to network and gain practical knowledge on how to best operate across the changing and challenging payments ecosystem.”
