Mollie en Shopify: samen groeien in Europa
E-commerce platform Shopify wil meer voet aan de grond krijgen in Europa en hoe kun je dat beter doen dan met de makkelijkste betalingen? Daarom hebben we de samenwerking met Shopify vernieuwd. We hebben kosten noch moeite gespaard om de integratie met Shopify zo makkelijk mogelijk te maken. Alles om ervoor te zorgen dat ondernemers geen omkijken hebben naar hun betalingen.
The first payment partner
Did you know that Mollie was Shopify’s first payment partner in the Benelux? Mollie founder Adriaan Mol has taken care of this himself. He posted a message in the Shopify Community: “There are several examples of customers who cannot opt for Shopify, because a good Dutch payment method (iDEAL) is missing. However, we don’t prefer other solutions as Shopify offers the best product.” Thanks to this insight, the collaboration with Mollie officially started in 2015 with the two most important payment methods in the Benelux: iDEAL for the Netherlands and Bancontact for Belgium.
Alle belangrijke betaalmethodes
Inmiddels biedt Mollie alle belangrijke betaalmethodes aan, die je als ondernemer nodig hebt om te groeien in Europa. Het is nu makkelijker dan ooit om relevante betaalmethodes zoals creditcard, PayPal en SEPA te activeren. En daar blijft het niet bij, binnenkort komen ook Klarna en Apple Pay beschikbaar. Bovendien, waar je vroeger heen en weer moest schakelen tussen de twee platformen, activeer je elke betaalmethode nu rechtstreeks vanuit je Shopify dashboard.
