Mollie start samenwerking met Plaid voor open banking (1)
Mollie, een van de snelst groeiende betalingsverwerkers in Europa, kondigt vandaag een strategische partnerschap aan met Plaid, een open banking netwerk en betaalplatform dat digitale financiën ondersteunt. Deze samenwerking biedt ondernemers een betere ervaring met financiële diensten, waaronder onboarding en betalingen. Mollie zal gebruik maken van Plaids API om de bankverificatie tijdens het onboardingproces veiliger en eenvoudiger te maken. Hierdoor kunnen klanten van Mollie makkelijker en sneller betalingen ontvangen, en nieuwe webshops openen in heel Europa.

Plaid, which is expanding rapidly in many European countries, is building the infrastructure and APIs that allow companies to fully exploit the possibilities of open banking. De uitrol van Plaids open-bankingoplossingen zal van start gaan in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Andere Europese markten, waaronder Frankrijk en Duitsland, zullen in de komende maanden volgen. Mollie onderzoekt momenteel ook de use cases van open banking voor betalingen en andere financiële diensten om verdere waarde toe te voegen voor zijn B2B-klanten.
