Smart Home Sounds is an outstanding Audio Visual eCommerce retailer for leading brands like Sonos, Sony, Playstation and more. It was formed for music lovers, by music lovers - and since 2011 has offered the highest level of customer service and expert product knowledge.
However it’s not always easy to find the same when it comes to payments. Andy’s team found themselves working with a legacy provider who weren’t able to keep up with the variety of payment methods customers are looking for - especially Apple Pay. With Black Friday and Christmas coming up, time was of the essence to optimise their payment options ahead of peak retail season.
Mollie x Magento 2: An effortless solution
Using Mollie’s out-the-box Apple Pay integration for Magento 2, Smart Home Sounds quickly set up and started accepting payments in October 2023, ahead of their peak period.
The update has gained them some quick results, given that 27.15% of Card transactions came via Apple Pay, and Conversion Rate has increased +41.9% YoY during the 4 months following. Andy, Smart Home Sound's Managing Director, had a lot to say; "This is massive for us…this was exactly the stat we were looking to improve with the Mollie integration, to get more people completing their orders."
