Wondr has won the ‘Newcomer Retail Award’ 2025–2026, earning praise from both the jury and the public. The award placed the winning newcomer ahead of fellow nominees Kentucky Stores and Maison Poulet. This recognition specifically honours retail concepts that have been active in the Belgian market for less than three years.

A diverse group of newcomers was evaluated on innovation, scalability, and originality. This year’s jury included members from Wave of Engagement, Q&A Retail, and various retail experts. Their diverse experiences with the nominated concepts led to a rich exchange of perspectives and a lively debate.

During the ‘Mollie Retailer of the Year Belgium’ award ceremony, the nominees were introduced and briefly interviewed by jury chair Tim Gielen, Co-Founder of Wave of Engagement. After short introductions and video pitches, the audience cast their votes — and Wondr’s pitch ultimately proved decisive.
